“The Bill Collector” is about our cat and his previous owner. He began visiting us over the fall of 2021 and we finally took him in during a snowstorm. We later learned that his owner had passed away, the police say he had been dead on the couch for months.
The song is written from three different perspectives; the cats, the previous owner, and the previous owner’s brother (who might be the only surviving family member). Enjoy!
